The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@guldstrands.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Did you upload the script in ascii mode?

Try a simple test script first, then see if that works.

Then at least you will know if it's a problem with your script, or the way you have set it up.

Have you checked the permissions on the script file?

I had the exact same problem with a relatively simple piece of code.

First remove ALL ASP code, upload it to the site and refresh the page...you should have no error.

Now, in the spot where you want to put your own code, put in the simple ASP code
<%
response.write("Hello World!")
%>

Upload it to the page and try it out. You should see "Hello World!" on your page.

Then add your own code...one line at a time if need be, uploading and refreshing repeatedly. Eventually you will get the internal server error.

In this way, you will know what is causing the problem.

You can get this error when your ASP code has a syntax error.

My ASP code causes this error when I use the "Option Explicit" line. Just remove it maybe. You'll have to just make sure your variables are fine.
