I found a great free version of a weblog analyzer at
http://www.weblogexpert.com/

The free version is a downscaled version of the paid for version.  It seems to work great and I prefer to analyze the logs myself on my machine than have to log into cpanel to get stats.

It works for me and is simple and easy to use... it may not be what others are looking for or may not have all the stats that some wish to see.

We have no plans on adding awstats.  You can always utilize the raw access logs and run a copy of awstats from your local machine.

No plans to add awstats does not mean it won't happen based on past LP actions though.  At the end of April the line was also no plans  to add Fantastico http://www.lunarforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=88865 and by June, it was installed...  That said, a local stats package is still your best option in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback.  However, we looked at awstats a few months ago and decided not to go with it.  We are not implementing awstats.
