Hi, I'm following the directions from a "sticky" in the "How To" section called "Setting up TFMail script..this is what #9 in the procedure says:

9.) Using either your FTP software or the File Manager in CPanel, change the permissions on TFmail.pl and TFmail_config.pl to 755.

I'm able to access CPanel and get to these files that I uploaded (and renamed based on the directions) but when I try to change permissions, I'm never able to save the 755. Currently it has 644 as permissions for both of these files. When I overwrite 644 with 755, then press change, the system reflect that the permissions are still 644.

Any thoughts on how I get this to work? Tks in advance for help

Using either your FTP software

You can do a lot better with a FTP program.

I recommend WS_FTP
http://www.ipswitch.com/

The you can navigate much better and change any files/folders to 777
