Not a biggie, but is the SSL certificate for CPanel login on neptune ever going to be fixed? I always get a "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site" warning whenever I go to login.

Paranoid maybe, but it also gets to be annoying after a while.

Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to mention this occurs when using the following URL:

https://login.neptune.lunarpages.com/frontend/x/index.html

Just found about the www.yourdomain.com/cpanel shortcut and it doesn't happen there. So, I guess I just answered my own question.  Confused

It's actually nothing to worry about.

Just click "OK" or "Accept" (the wording depends on the browser you use) and you can just ignore it.

You are not really being paranoid, it's important to be aware of security, so it's a good question to ask.

The reason it doesn't come up with the www.yourdomain.com/cpanel method is because that doesn't start with https://

(which is the secure version of the http protocol)

Just FYI... Then it's a hyperlink coding error somewhere on lunarpages.com, since I receive that warning while logging into my account which resides on neptune using the login hyperlink at the lunarpages.com home page.

A minor problem, but you might want to have someone look into it when there's time.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, whenever you use the secure login, you will get that message.

It's not a mistake.

Did you use the option to install the certificate?

I contacted 'certificates@lunarpages.com' requesting a certificate, but I have no idea how long these things take. Or how they are implemented. Can anyone shed some light on this.?
