I'm a newbie ... when I logged into CPANEL, there was a message stating that I had a new message. Then there was a button I clikced to 'Acknowledge that I saw the message'. I have no idea on how to view this message; is it an option on the CPANEL? As help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Fora

Hi Fora,

Where are you logging in that you saw this Cpanel message? Is it in Cpanel itself or the login page that noted you had a message? If it is the http://www.lunarpages.com/login.php page, the acknowledgement is that you viewed the new url is working to login.

Thanks.

Danielle.

I think fora was refering to when going as far as .

https://www.lunarpages.com/login/login.cgi from the

http://www.lunarpages.com/login.php ( the next 'page' )

I tried it and got the same thing happen.

you have mail waiting.

and two buttons.

'Click here to Acknowledge'  and 'proceed to Control Panel'

I also clicked the first one first.
 Nothing happened and lo.

No message waiting for me in my inbox.

Tried it again and get " There are no new messages for you!" and only "proceed to Control Panel"   Confused

That is cause the message is "Have a question? Need assistance? etc." After you acknowledge it, then it disappears. It is a test to ensure you could login successfully on the part of the new login page.

There are no new messages meaning that page there didn't have a new message. You already read and acknowledge the "Have a question? Need assistance? Check out our support information or contact our support staff at any time for assistance." one. It is not a Cpanel message page, it is a message for that page, the login page.

Also, this shows you that:
( Proceed to Control Panel )

You aren't in the control panel on that page and it has nothing to do with the messages in Cpanel.  The messages it indicates there will be for that page and that page alone.
