Hi Everyone, are there any plans to upgrade fantistico? I read it had been upgraded to 1.3.1 recently. I am interested in upgrading Moodle on my site to version 1.3 but hesitate to attempt this manually. Thank you  Wink

Kinda branching off this question as well - how about an upgrade on the shuttle package by adding 1 or 2 more mysql DBs. I know zelter has unlimited disk space currently, but who the hell needs that much disk space? I'd rather trade that in for at least 1 more mysql db.

That unlimited disk space is actually a glitch in cPanel. The storage space is still 800MB.

There are posts discussing how one can add more tables to the single database as a workaround to purchasing additional ones. That seems a good trade-off to me: you gain the technical knowledge of administering a mySQL database and save money. If time is critical, in all honesty, $12 dollars for one more db hardly seems to warrant a second thought.

I've already asked about adding at least one extra database, but I was shot down.
Maybe one day they will. Until then, you can purchase extras for a dollar month.

I hope the thread does not degenerate into a gripe session over the equity of Lunarpages' service plans. I recall seeing various posts about that elsewhere, where it might be more efficacious to add these thoughts. Please, remember the thread began as a simple question, not a complaint, about Fantastico.

I don't see that it is. I don't remember it ever being a gripe session elsewhere. Don't confuse debate for gripe.  Wink

Then debate it on a database thread - it does not belong here.
