So, Frontpage extensions is not working on my add-on domain. In Cpanel when I click install, the loading bar will get about half way and just sit there. About 20-30 minutes later it will switch to "Page not found/Page cannot be displayed"

Huh

If someone from LunarPages might be able to go ahead and do this I'd be fine with that.

I'd like to start the promotion of the site but there are a few frontpage components I need before that happens.

I keep trying and it never works. Sad

Hi,

This sounds like an individual issue that needs to be resolved via support.  If the initial response did not resolve the issue, please let them know so they can continue to investigate.

After dealing with LP on many occasions, I have been pleased. But this is complete "bull shit". I do not mean to have to use profanity, but I'm pretty upset.

Here is a quote of my "help desk ticket"

A few things were said previous to this, but they do not matter in detail.

We can then try uninstalling then installing the FrontPage extensions again with your permission. You will need to backup any custom borders, buttons, and themes as these will be deleted in the process.

Isn't there a way to have extensions installed on the add-on domain without
reinstalling extensions on the main domain?

You have add-on domains, what's procedure for this? I mean reinstalling on
the main domain can't be the way to do it every time a customer gets a new
add-on domain.

I'd really rather not have to go through my entire webspace and find every
component fixed into frontpage and have to back them up.

LP[/b]
We can reinstall on only the add-on domain and is what I had in mind to do, I apologize I failed to mention that in the last email. I do always recommend that the custoemr backup the buttons, borders, and themes though merely as a precaution. These are the only things that need to be backed up. Other Frontpage objects will be reinstalled either through the extension installation process or you republishing the site after the installation.

Me[/b]
Oh, ok. Well in that case, yes please do go ahead with that. @#$% (edit for security purposes) for your security. Everything on the add-on domain is backed up already. It's only a
few pages and images right now (not much).

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm forwarding this ticket to a tech who'll reinstall the extensions manually. They will reply to this message when they process it. You will not need to respond to this message.

Kind Regards,

LP Tech[/b]
Hello,

We have reinstalled the FrontPage Server Extensions for you on the main domain. Please note that you will need to re-upload the borders and such, as indicated in the previous email. Please advise whether this fixed the problem or not.

Kind Regards,

Now.... After all that. Some where along the lines between the LP employee helping me and the tech got messed up(I assume). And after all that, where the point was clearly made I did not want my main domain's extensions installed/uninstalled/reinstalled it was then done anyway.

Huh

To top this off. Extensions are not even installed on my add-on domain (according to Cpanel). Plus, my add-on domain is now currently recieving a

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I try to go to it.

Really now..... This is horrible.
