 Help
I am lost and do not have any map!  Please help and respond in laymen's terms cause I am not a techie but desparately need help.  I lost my blog (worked really hard on it and did not save it anywhere else (dum I know)

I got WordPress installed using Fantasico -- I think the MySQL Database is set-up, but I lost the favorite link to the site to manage my blog.

Also when I preview on this page it opens my site but there is no blog anywhere - I used PageMason to create site.  How do I get it to show.

First, login to cPanel. http://www.yourdomain.com:2082/ After that go to file manager > public_html > see where you installed your blog. Lets say you installed the blog at "blog1" the access URL will be http://www.yourdomain.com/blog1/, once that's done see what type of .html pages are in public_html. You'll most likely just need to delete a few files in public_html, set up a URL forwarding from public_html to blog1 and you'll be good.

If you find that you installed pagemason's layouts, and WordPress in the same folder[ex: public_html] you will need to check each file in public_html, and delete them one at a time.

Ok, got part way there.

CPanel, public_html and found the blog files.  There are a lot of html files in there including my website files, wordpress files and php files.  How do I know what to delete?

Also set-up a URL - I don't know how to do that.

Sorry, sounding stupid but I am not only new to this I have had no training/exposure to creating a site or doing any of this.

Thank you for your input. Confused

Also, I still cant get to the page where I edit, add to my blog.  Lost the favorites link I added to my browser -- anyone know what it is (it said to bookmark it in very strong statement - which I did but it didn't save!)

Gosh, this is much more difficult than I thought it was going to be! Confused

If you installed WordPress under your main domain, try:

yourdomain.com/wp-admin/

If you installed it inside another folder try:

yourdomain.com/theotherfoldername/wp-admin/

Hope that helps!
