Hi Mitch,
I'm a current member of Lunarpages (web.claudster.net).
I just purchased
www.clyderayson.net from Lunarpages.
I would like to POINT the new
www.clyderayson.net TO
http://sites.google.com/site/clyderayson/home.
In Google, I have already added the new URL (
www.clyderayson.net) in the Web Address Mapping section.
I think I read that only "you" can make this change in the CPANEL section.
Can you proceed or advise otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
Claude
Here are the instructions from Google:
Once you've completed the steps above, follow these instructions:
1- Sign in to your domain registrar.
2- Navigate to your DNS Management page. The location and name of this page varies by host, but can generally be found in the Domain Management or Advanced Settings section.
3 - Find the CNAME settings and in the section 'CNAME value or alias,' enter the subdomain you'd like to map the URL to. The subdomain for
www.example.com would be example.com.
4 - Set the CNAME destination to the following address: ghs.google.com
5 - Save changes with your domain host.
