I would like to know if I can change from cPanel to LPCP as the latter seems more stable and modern.

Is there any chance this can be done?

Thanks!

That's the first time I have ever heard a request to move from cPanel. The cPanel on my server was just upgraded to the latest one and I love it.

However... to answer your question I think it goes like this....

The whole server is either on cPanel or not. So you have to request a server change to a later server to get LPCP (which is Lunars own version).

I don't think Lunar is even using cPanel on newer servers anymore unless you pay extra for it (I think it's about two bucks per month).

You will have to open a ticket to make the request, but it should easily BE doable.

Thank you for the reply.

I submitted a ticket already.

I want to move to LPCP because it has more one-click installation scripts like drupal, etc.

Fantastico is so outdated and has scripts which are not the best.

To generate a .htaccess file in LPCP, log in to the LPCP, and then go to your File Manager. Click on the text link labelled,  public_html to navigate yourself inside the public_html folder.

No one forces you to use Fantastico (or LPCP's one-button installer). You're always free to go to the original source's site and download the very latest version and install it yourself (manually).
