Okay, had to close out of everything and come back in.. has to do with the certificate being for aaryn.lunarpages.com but the site being login.aaryn.lunarpages.com... of course, this is most likely a different server than the one you are on.

I know that some IP ranges were blocked earlier because of ddos attacks (they blocked ranges to make sure they caught all the infected machines), this helped keep the server up and going. Down side is that it did end up blocking some legitimate access. As far as I know though, it only affected aaryn, so if you are hosted on a different server then that probably isn't the case...

I'll keep thinking on this to see if I can come up with something more helpful...

Thank you to both of you. I was a very unhappy camper! You've made my day. I'm sure I'll be back with lots more questions and maybe I'll be able to help someone else sometime.

Okay... just read some of the other posts that came in... the aaryn issue can be ruled out, and since you are able to get past the login process, it does seem to be something about europa...

Did you get a temp url to use when they set things up? Right now it would probably only show you an empty directory, but at least it would let you know the site is up and that you can get through to europa...

One thing I've found about LP and these forums is that chances are someone else has had either the same problem or something similar and is willing to help out... so, I'm trying to return the favor to others where I can... and hence the fact I'm now an intergalactic cowboy in terms of number of posts and I only started posting here on Friday when my site was not accessible....

Unfortunately, that I can't help with... the site I have on here is a personal site and the other site I manage is for an academic department, so no experience with either of them. You might try posting something in either the "Webhosting Help" or "Beginner Assistance" forums. Those tend to get a fair amount of traffic and somebody will probably be able to give you an opinion or two...
