I am running a forum on my site.  A few days ago I tried to log in to the admin section of the forum and got an 500 internal server error.  So I went to the CPanel file manager and tried to do "show file" on the file in question.  The file displayed for about 2 seconds, then I was redirected to a page containing this error:

Not Found

The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/x/files/.$INFO%5B) you requested
Please check the url and try again.  You might also want to report  this error to your webhost.

What does this error indicate?

What server are you on? Does the rest of the forum work? Which forum script are you running? What is the URL? It could be a phpsuexec error if your server has been converted to it and permissions are set to 777 anywhere in your files as it usually is on the avatars folder.
