I'm having issues with the principal e-mail address that I've set up for my site. The problem is that I can't seem to receive e-mails that are sent to it if I have an autoresponder turned on, although it works fine if the responder is turned off.

When sending the mail, I receive the auto-response as I should do, but the e-mail never actually arrives. There is some HTML in the auto-response? Would that make any difference?

Any suggestions would be really welcome!

Thanks alot

What are your settings in the autoresponder? In the "email" field, did you put in the username or the complete email address? Did you see the email address that the autoresponder showed as confirmation when you set the autoresponder?

Sorry for not replying sooner TranzNDance ... I found out what I was doing wrong. I had the settings in Outlook wrong so I was accessing the main account rather than accessing the new mailbox that I'd just set up.  argh...!!!

Thanks alot for replying though ... I'm just sorry I haven't got back to you sooner  Embarassed

It's OK, simontheak. Smile I participate in too many threads to be able to keep track of them. That's great that you figured out the solution and are sharing it so that others can benefit if they come across this page. Thumbs Up
