Hi all,
The bandwidth stats page gives the total traffic volume for each month in "Gig". Is that gigabytes? gigabits?

depending on the term of the usage. I would say it is gigabytes since both refer to data transfer but to give you a better visual on the difference A byte is a sequence of bits; usually eight bits equal one byte. so you would normally would refer to it as bytes.

I agree that it's likely gigabytes (GB). A rule of thumb is bits/10 -> bytes (10 bits per byte, counting transmission overhead). bits "b" are usually only used when talking about transmission speeds (e.g., 10 Mbps), and bytes "B" for everything else. Of course, the doofus who designed the stats page should be given a dope slap for being so vague. LP, how about fixing that to give units more precisely? "Gigs" may be hip and cool to say, but it's off by a factor of 8 to 10.

MrPhil, afraid you'd have to give a "message" to one of the cPanel developers. I'll be sure to pass the suggestion along next time I see one of 'em.  Haha

Seriously, Mitch, LP does pass on criticisms of cPanel to its developers, don't you? Or are they ignoring you now that you're striking out on your own with LPCP?
