Hi,

I would like to install the latest version of jre on my dedicated server. Are there any instructions and/or tutorials
available from lunarpages on this?

Regards,

Lloyd

Hi Lloyd,

It would be helpful to know the OS installed on your server to provide specific advises. Please advise.

Hello,

You would try these instructions:

http://blog.sixsigns.com/2008/06/26/update-on-installing-jre-6-on-centos/

Please note it is not possible to download JRE or JDK from Sun's site to the server directly. You need to download the mentioned RPM file on your computer first and then upload it to the server either using FTP or scp.
