I have a VPS box with Plesk as the control panel. I have a number of alternate domain names (org net com and two spellings for US and English English) and want them all to point to one domain.

At present, via the Plesk control panel, this works but with a 302 redirect which is not good for google. I'd like to change this to a 301 but I'm confused as to how to get 5 domains pointing to the one. Do I use .htaccess or modify vhost in some way. I'm rather stuck!

Hi,

Did you try to use Alias Domain feature in Plesk? It allows create multiple domains pointing to the same location in the control panel of the main domain. If this won't work, you can use .htaccess or modify apache configuration. I would recommend .htaccess for that.
