Hi, I have just upgraded from a business account to a Dedicated II Linux server with Managed Hosting Intense.

So what do I do now??  Confused

I searched here for a basic tutorial but I didn't find one.

I have the Lunar Panel (free).

Do I make a public_html folder, or do I just upload my site into /var/www/html ?  I have no idea what to do...

Well better question might be, what do you want to do first?  Confused

I want to move my existing web site from the business account over to the dedicated server. I know how to tarball it and upload it, but where do I upload it? What is the equivalent to the old 'public_html' folder?

That would be the first step. Then I have to export and import my mySQL databases, but I think I can figure that out.

Hi Karma,

LPCP uses folder layout similar to cPanel one. First, please ensure you have the account created for your domain in the panel. Then login as the user specified for the account by FTP and you'll see the public_html folder you need to upload the site to. If you'll be using shell and root to untar the file, the full path to the folder will be /home/[username]/public_html.

Please advise if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks, I hadn't created an account - that was my problem. Now I get it.
