Hello i sent this to support but still waiting and i need help Smile

Since going from shared to dedicated here I am having a problem.  First, I cannot access my email from my control panel.  I log in and get a blank white screen and it never connects.  Someone sent me a response back about using thunderbird or outlook.  I want to access my email through my control panel like i did with shared hosting here.

Second, I run a forum like this one.  Since moving to dedicated my email to members is not going through at all or at the very least is taking a very long time.  Is there something in my mx records that need changed here or can someoone check and see why my email is a problem since going to a dedicated sever.  thanks steve

Sorry to hear you are having issues.  I think this might still be better handled by the support team.  You might clarify that you want to access it via webmail.  Not sure why they would send you Thunderbird info, maybe that just misread your question.  Sounds like if it is just blanking out - but you can access your control panel and the rest, there might be something misconfigured with the webmail client.

Thanks for the reponse.  You know the dedicated server is like a dream come true as far as visitor satisfaction.  People cannot believe the speed, like my website has new life.  This is important with a growing website, without it I could not continue to grow.  I am impressed.  Unfortunately though I have not heard from customer support and I have not been able to access my email.  If there is some configuration issue I don't know what it is and I am dying to get to my emails.  Should I call them since I have sent several emails I don't want to send anymore?

p.s. what is this smiley package you have i would love to use it on my SMF site but I have not seen this one?

Hello,

I found that your ticket about problems with webmail wasn't in the dedicated severs support so I've moved it to the correct desk where it will have a priority. Of course, if you would like to get it fixed as soon as possible, you can contact our dedicated phone support by calling 1-714-521-8150 and then pressing 4 for the dedicated and VPS area. Also, support call to you can be scheduled if you provide the best time for call in PST time zone and your phone number in the ticket you have opened with us.

Once again, our apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the issue you are experiencing.

P.S. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where the smileys set for these forums was obtained from. Maybe other moderators and forum administrators could shed a light on that. You could also check SMF site to see if they are available there.

we just switched to a dedicated server environment and as soon as i changed the dns records in our domain administrator, we stop receiving emails, looks like something has to be change at the MX records,
how did you fix this problem?

thanks,

Hello macpr3,

The best course of action right now, in order to get your e-mail back up and running ASAP would be to contact the support team. The contact details for Lunar Pages support can be found at: http://www.lunarpages.com/contact-us/
