Hi,
How do I upgrade dedicated server (level II) to support PHP 5.01?   
Gosh, I thought that was the standard now.

FWIW:  I have LunarPanel not C or Plesk.  Is this something I should refer to support desk?

Hi Nancy,

What CentOS version is installed on our server? Are you sure you need version 5.0.1 and not some thing like 5.2 or even 5.3? PHP 5.0 was not something that was recommended for production use.

Thanks for replying Vlad. You make a good point about PHP 5.1

We have CentOS release 4.8 (Final)
MySql Version     4.1.22
PHP Version     4.3.9

Concrete5  recommends:
PHP 5.2.x
MySQL 5.x or higher.

Not sure what I should do here...

After poking around in Google land, I think I've answered my own question.
Seems like CentOS 4.8 can't be upgraded to 5.x.
5 would require a clean install -- which I'm not prepared to do myself.

Hello Nancy,

We will be more than happy to help you with this. Please send an email to dedicated@lunarpages.com if you haven't done already and our admins will assist you with OS upgrade.  As you mentioned Centos 5 would require a clean install and either we reformat your current server  and install a fresh Centos 5 on it ( this will require you have a backup of your domains) or we will prepare a new machine and migrate your account over. Our admins will assist you with any of the option you choose.
