Hi there,

I'm totally new to this realm of dedicated hosting.

I current have  a website that streams videos, but my shared hosting account is running out of capacity to handle the traffic.

I'm thinking of switching over the lunarpage's dedicated hosting, but i understand a server in its plain form doesn't stream videos.

What software will i need. Will Lunarpages do it for me? how much will the software and support cost?

Thanks.

You may need to see whether Darwin Streaming server or Helix Streaming server will suit your needs.

Heh nope my website doesn't serve viruses.

So is it true that after installing the Darwin Streaming server, i can stream videos via windows media player normally via normal http codes, cos darwin is owned by apple (or must ALL videos be streamed via quicktime)
