Apache 1.3 and Apache 2 are different versions, but Apache 2 is not necessarily better than 1.3.

Apache 2 has different features, but shouldn't really be considered an "upgrade" really.

We can give you instructions on how to change to Apache 2 if you need them, but I would be wary of changing personally. There is nothing wrong with 1.3 or 2, they are just different.

Is there a new feature that you need in Apache 2? If not, it might be a good idea to leave it as it is.
