It's unbelieveable that the the lastest post in this whole section was several months ago.

However, I am thinking moving from dedicated server to Colocation Hosting.

With LP since 2004, moved from shared hosting to dedicated since around 2005, at a monthly price of $170 ($130, plus $35 cpanel, $5 remote reboot), looks like I have been here on the same plan for 7 yrs Smile

Today LP has only $165+ per month plans, the $165 plan is the i3 plan (for 2 yrs pay, $175+ for 1 yr pay), plus cpanel + remote reboot, it goes to $215 per month for 1yr pay ($2100/yr),  $255 per month for monthly pay ($3060 / yr ).

If I stay on the i3 for 3 yrs, which means $6,300 ~ $9,180... just have the question: is this the time to buy my own server, place it in LP's data center, or just stay with the dedicated plans?

Anyone has any idea about this?

Hello,

I have sent a support ticket with information on Lunarpages colocation to the account email we have on file for the vicdir.com  domain..   We do provide colocation in 2 locations in California one in Hawthorne CA as well as Irvine CA.
