Actually Muse is basically for graphic designer. Dreamweaver is for web developers who want to write the code for their websites manually. I never used MUSE but want to try.

Majority of the time that I use Dreamweaver, I am working on the code view. So I could as well say notepad rocks just as much if you work most of the time typing up the code.

Hello,

I think Muse is mainly for designers who have to make one kind of Designer & HTML mails. If you want to create small website then you can choose Adobe Muse but If you going to any big websites and have to changes in any big website then you should to use Adobe Dreamweaver.

Finally, Adobe Muse is not for Developers.

Cheers:)

I see that many of you adore Dreamweaver. I and many of my friends webmasters use Netbeans or Eclipse. And they use it after they tried Dreamweaver. Why are you so passionate about Dreamweaver?

I would not say that DW and the like are for professional web developers. It's for amateurs and visual designers/graphics artists who can't wrap their head around the concept of coding HTML, much less PHP or another scripting language. It might speed up the initial development and layout of a page, but no self-respecting web developer would be caught dead doing the whole thing in DW.
