Help.
I have 3 websites on Lunarpages and Dreamweaver.

I have just changed my .html files to .php files. When I put the local files to the remote site, the local files for each website show up on the remote files for all websites.

Each Host Directory for Remote Info and Testing Server is public_html and each root folder is a public_html folder.

I also get 404 errors on two websites when I try to view the sites.

The remote and testing servers are connected according to the test buttons in Site Definition.

I know the solution may be simple but I am completely lost. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi "Guys"

If each host directory is the root of public_html does that mean you are saying you placed the files all in the same (public_html) folder.

If you have 3 different websites, I would first upload the individual files for each website to a different folder (I usually name the folder something related to the domain name, like acc for akronchessclub). Your domain names should point to the folder that is within you public_html folder if you have 3 separate websites.

If you can explain this alittle more, I may be able to help.

On a different topic, were these live sites? If so what is the reason for changing the .html to .php extensions (You change your settings so that the .html files are parse... read... so that they are treated like .php files without losing web/google rankings.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your response. I'm such a newbie.

As it turned out, I had only one public_html directory set up in the C-Panel. I needed to set up directories in the C-Panel for my two add-on domains. Then define the add-on host directories as public_html/addonsitename.

I didn't know about parse, lucky the websites are new and do not have search engine ranking yet.

Thanks for your help.
