Hi sorry bringing up an old post, but i am having some serious problems with this.

I have read the previous replies to a similar post and I have attempted all the suggestions but I am still not getting dreamweaver to connect to my host anymore.

Dreamweave was connecting fine to my FTP host up until today, the last successful connection was yesterday.  I worked on my database connection and writing data to the database via a form.

However today it keeps giving me this FTP error occurred.  I have emailed and tried contacting my host to see if they can help, however I have been unsuccessful thus far.  I have also done the following to no success.

     - restarted my system
     - deleted the connection from dreamweaver and added it back.
    -  shut down and restarted dreamweaver
    -  checked my internet connection

Presently I am using Dreamweaver MX and my FTP host is Jabry.  Can someone please help me with this as I have tried everything I can think off.

Thanks and sorry again for bringing up an old post.

What type of error are you getting exactly (error message and all)?  That should help us troubleshoot your issue a little 'bit more. Smile

Alright, going to keep hunting around for info on this, but in the mean time - I was able to dig this up from my saved links list -

Might see if it helps! Smile

Hi Mitch, I had a looked at the site you suggested.  However everything it stated I already looked into and so far is correct.

I am really not sure what happened with my connection, since it worked fine all the time up until this morning.

If there is any other advice you can provide it would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Without your exact settings (username, password, host, connection), it would be difficult to troubleshoot. You could open a support ticket to provide those personal details. I'd also suggest attaching a screenshot to the ticket with the screen print showing your settings. Giving step-by-step details on how you are connecting would likewise be helpful in the ticket.

You can do this one of two ways:

E-mail support directly at support@lunarpages.com (this will automatically create a ticket for you)

or

Submit your ticket via the help desk's web interface here:

http://support.lunarpages.com

Hope that helps!
