i'm trying to get this tfmail stuff to work.  i'm FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY on step 19 of stevenP's tutorial thing where you have to modify your webpage to add the line <input type="hidden" name="_config" value="contact"> at the end.  i also have to put the ACTION=cgi-bin/tfmail.pl">

ok here's my problem.  i open up the page in dreamweaver and instead of design view i hit the icon that says SHOW CODE VIEW.  ok so i do that and of course, there's code.  i tried to simply insert those lines into the code and then i hit save and PUT.  problem is that everytime i go back to the page and look at the code...what i added before is no longer there!

is there a special way that i have to edit code?

i was looking at the INSERT->INVISIBLE TAGS -> SCRIPTS  does that have anything to do with what I need to do?  or do i need to edit it my ftp client thing?

i tested a dummy page and tried to use that insert->invisible tags->scripts and i get a pop up thing that asks if i want to insert javascript, javascript 1.1, javascript 1.2, or vbscript.  does that have anything to do with it?

it ended up looking like this is the code (JAVASCRIPT):<script language="JavaScript">
<input->
</script>

and the same thing for vb script....hmm i'm guessing this isn't the way to go huh.

Hi sopidy,

You should be able to simply insert the tags in the appropriate locations and then save the file.  Are you putting the input tag in the area it is supposed to be in the script?  It would be toward the top of where the form starts.  Also, the action path would replace the current path for your previous formmail script (if you had a previous formmail script).  Thus, where are you putting this new information for your page?  You may want to provide us with the page so we can look at the source if you aren't sure where to put it.

Thanks
