I don't think this is really a Dreamweaver issue, but I used Dreamweaver to create the site I'm having a problem with. This has been driving me crazy and is probably going to end up being something stupid, but I've been staring at it forever and can't see anything wrong.

I have inserted hundreds of images in web sites without a problem, but there are two that aren't showing up on one page of a site I recently completed: http://www.natacademytc.com/training_phlebotomy.html. The images show up fine on the rest of the site, but this page was added a few weeks after the rest of the site was done. If you look at the image info, it shows that the dimensions of both are 0x0, scaled to 200 x 135 and 200 x 127. I have re-scanned, re-saved and re-inserted the photos three times, re-uploaded them several times, and the same thing happens. I tried making a test page with just those two images, and they didn't show up there, either. They do appear when I preview the page through Dreamweaver. The images are in the images directory -- I've checked and re-checked.

Does anyone know why the image info shows the dimensions as 0x0? Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Even in File Manager the images do not show when viewed. Have you tried uploading them via FTP rather than through Dreamweaver? Be sure the mode for upload is set correctly.

Did you check your FTP program to be sure it is uploading in Binary? Have you tried forcing it rather than using Auto?

There is something wrong with your image files. The header information seems to be corrupted.

Katrina, thanks for your reply. FTP seems to have been working fine. I've uploaded other pages since the problem with these images, and I uploaded a different image and it came out fine.

Wektech, thank you. I'm scanning actual photographs that the client gave me (which I've done successfully with several photos on her site). I wondered if they were corrupted, so re-scanned, re-saved, re-inserted and re-uploaded one of them, and had the same problem. Do you have any idea what might cause them to become corrupted?

Katrina, I double-checked to make sure my FTP program was set to upload in Binary, and it wasn't. I changed it, and that appears to have solved the problem. Thank you so much! I've been working on this off and on for two weeks. I don't know why I didn't have this problem with the other images I uploaded, but that's OK.

Thank you, thank you!

i am writting here because this problem is SIMLAIR to mine. i also use dreamweaver.. love this program.
my problme is: the page will NOT update.

what i have done:

updated the ONE page and reload it.
delete all files; and reloaded them.

my dilemma: on the domain; all pages are updated and i can check the HTML code and it really is updated.
BUT the update does NOT show on the website.

this has NEVER happened before. i am puzzled.

anyone know what i shall do ??
