I have a very simple navigation menu implemented as a list of links.  I'm using css to format the list into something that looks like buttons.  The design view in MX 2004 shows formatted list of links, but MX shows nothing.  Is there a setting somewhere on MX that I can change, or is this a limitation of MX?  The css formatting is as follows:

  ul.navbar {
    list-style-type: none;
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 2em;
    left: 1em;
    width: 9em }

  ul.navbar li {
    background: #000033;
    margin: 0.5em 0;
    padding: 0.3em}

  ul.navbar a {
    text-decoration: none }

  a:link {
    color: #cccccc;}

Thanks,
Ron

Are you trying to decide between the two programs? Why the concern for MX's limitation? Smile

I don't know MX's limitation, but MX2004 is supposed to have much greater support for CSS.

DW is very pricey!  I like 2004 a lot... especially the great css support, but it still comes down to a cost/benefit ratio  Cool

LOL... yeah, sometimes it's easy to forget about that, but considering how much I wish I had more time, I guess I'd have to consider any time savings to count for a lot... but following that argument could lead me into sticking with FrontPage  Confused
