Hello,
I am working on a client's website www.varcadosshell.com, and I have faded borders on either side of the site for both the index page and all the others using a template and a css sheet. When I check it in Dreamweaver everything displays correctly in IE 8, but once I upload it the fade out side borders do not show.

The name of the css is tao.css and the issues are with .ExtShadow and .ExtShadow2.

It should look like the attachment.

I use the same code for www.taointerests.com and no problems. I can't see what's wrong.

Please help.

Thanks,
Adrian

p.s.

this thing didn't let me upload the sample in jpg or pdf but if you go to taointerests.com you will see what i mean on the site edges and what i was trying to accomplish in the varcados site but they're just not showing up and I don't know why.

Your CSS says the images are in the Images directory but they seem to be in the images directory. Remember linux is case sensitive.

And indeed that's what it was...I completely and totally forgot about that even though I stared at it for hours waiting for it to tell me what was wrong.
AWESOME!

Thanks a million!

2 more questions,

1. I thought I coded so that the site would appear centered no matter what resolution but it's lean right. What did I do wrong?

2. In Firefox, the site is showing a small chunk of blank space at the very top of the site and the very bottom. I have absolutely no idea why. I tried a few things but it just threw the whole site out of whack.

Ideas and solutions please?

try adding body {margin:0px} to your CSS to overide the default firefox margins.
