So, I asked this in the oscommerce forum and *sighs* getting answers there just doesnt work. I was given a contribution to add the comodo ssl button to my site and what they have in the contrib doesnt match the button that lunar gave me or the infor for comodo even though it is comodo in the contrib.  Sites dont match.

All I want to do is get my store up and running, is there anybody here that has a functioning site that could help out a little?

I wasnt sure if I should just add a new box or not and I want to add links in the header bar for the gallery I am going to install and the smf forum I have up...but finding help or the answers means two days of searching through 50 page posts on oscommerce.

Any clue guys???

Hi there,
I have a functioning OsC site with the Comodo certificate.
I'm not sure why you'd need a contrib to add the Comodo graphic to the site. As I recall, the code for the graphic with its javascript rollover came from Comodo when I purchased the SSL.
FWIW, the code I was sent looks like this:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.trustlogo.com/trustlogo/javascript/trustlogo.js" type="text/javascript">
Code:
</script>
<!--
TrustLogo Html Builder Code:
Shows the logo at URL http://www.gnpcrescendo.com/store/images/secure_site.gif
Logo type is Secure Site Seal - For SSL Certificate holders ("SC")
Not Floating
//-->
<script type="text/javascript">TrustLogo("http://www.gnpcrescendo.com/store/images/secure_site.gif", "SC", "none");</script>

Do you have a link to the contrib you're trying to use? I'll have a look at it.

I didn't put mine on the front page, but in the help pages, so I didn't add a new infobox.
