I am setting up a simple ecommerce site. The site is live on a lunarpages server, and I need to set up the e commerce part. I will use paypal, but if I want to customize the payment page with my logo instead of Paypals, there will be
message telling the buyer the page may be "insecure"
So, to fix this I need to be on a secure SSL.  I think the paypal  code is all HTML so I think it should work on a shared SSL server.

If this is true, how do I move my site from the server its on now to a secure SSL server?

Is it as simple as changing my FTP info to https://secure(server name).lunarpages.com/~username/ and uploading my site there?
Thanks

The url for your pages secured on the shared SSL certificate would be https://secure.yourserver.lunarpages.com/~username/page.html or https://secure.yourserver.lunarservers.com/~username/page.html
https://secure.yourserver.lunarmania.com/~username/page.html (replace yourserver with the name of your server and user with your username. Which URL to use depends on the server you are on.)

Please Note the following:

1. Shared SSL will not function with ASP, JSP or PHP pages. It will function only with html, and cgi/perl based documents/scripts/carts. This is due to security restrictions on the servers.

2. Shared SSL is not available with Lunarpages' Windows hosting plan.

Hope that helps!

That seems rediculous.

All the carts are in PHP but the server doesn't allow for it.
