Hello all,
i have an account with LP and an account for 2checkout and sell baby clothes
2checkout is of no help i called them, so im posting it here maybe someone uses 2 checkout
and knows howto do this.

2checkout site wont let you add a box for someone to type in a name
right now people click on the item on my website and click a 2checkout button which takes them to 2checkout, where they can choose a font, quanitity,  and color. which works flawless!BUT there is no way on 2checkout site to add a box for someone to type in a name.

It's really important for a box so someone can type in a name so i would know that the baby cloth they ordered for instance and they want the name of say " Kate " on it .

Has anyone experienced this and got a solution ?
Appreciate the help
TIA!

Hello waffle68,

Don't know of a way to get 2checkout to do it but what if you added this info to your order page before it goes to the checkout process?

It could then be a required process to fill out before moving on to the checkout phase.

thanx scott but i tried adding a form box onto my site where someone would type in a name
but when you submit it to 2checkout it doesnt save it and plus you have to choose the font, color again on 2checkout since it doesnt save any of it from my website

Could you have the form emailed to you and then send the info needed to 2checkout? It would mean you would have to match your form to the 2checkout data you get.

I don't use any oscommerce, but does it give you the possibility of having some custom input that just gets passed on to you?

Trying to think of any and all possibilities.

Fretnmore:
No 2checkout don't have that option to do that
I wish 2checkout had all the options where you could add a box for someone to type in a name but it don't

If you could give me a url for your store then I'll test out 2checkout myself and give you my solution.

Regards

Julian
