I've got to do a site that requires some sort of shopping cart for only a couple items (for now). I know next to nothing about carts, and reading about the subject is confusing me even more! Does anyone know of a good general overview or something.

Thanks!

Hi,
Is there any specific questions you have on shopping carts?

If you log into your cpanel and click on fantastico there is three different shopping carts you can install and test/play with under the E-Commerce section.

For just a few items, your best bet is just using the PayPal buy now buttons or their shopping cart system. This is set up in the PayPal account and you then copy/paste the generated code into your webpage and voila... you have a shopping cart. Using most other options would require you to mess with SSL certificates and script installations. For just a few items, this is not cost-effective.

Hope this helps!
