I am a member of LunarPages who has an e-mail account associated with my LunarPages domain.  The quota is set to unlimited.  I recently crossed the 15,000 message mark in my inbox on the server. 

I use a MacbookPro 15 inch with Snow Leopard and the included Mail.app program to check mail.  I use IMAP and SMTP to read and send.

I came into the office today to find that about 3000 messages from recently until April were missing from my inbox.  I found 728 of them in the deleted messages folder via Webmail.  The rest of them were not there.  Has anyone ever encountered such problems on LunarPages or with Mac's Mail program? 

I would appreciate any insight and am happy to answer any questions that may help return me the messages.
