I have been using my e-mail accounts for quite sometime and suddenly I cannot send any e-mails from any of my accounts.  This is the type of message I keep getting back:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'xyz@.......net'. Subject '', Account: 'thistooshallpass', Server: 'mail.mdhardy.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Temporary local problem - please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

What is going on?  I have tried sending mail via Outlook Express and also Incredimail - both of which I have been using long term.  I haven't changed any settings, but the mail still won't go through

It is working now for some reason.  It didn't work all morning long, but now it is working just fine.

Thanks anyway

I'm having the same problem too!  I'm on the abante server.  It's not letting me send emails out, but I can receive incoming.  And I did make sure that "My outgoing server requires authentication" is checked.  I tried it both checked and unchecked.  Help please!

Sometimes removing the account from your mail client and using the auto-config in cpanel helps.

It's at the far right for each email account in your list of accounts in cpanel.

make sure to remove the account first, and have Outlook or Outlook express closed.

If you use a different mail client, I've had success using the auto-config, then exporting/importing that account into whatever client you're using, from outlook or outlook express.
