I certainly understand your concern if you aren't receiving emails, but are these emails bouncing or just disappearing? How do you know you aren't receiving all of them basically. Next, do you have Spam Assassin enabled? Is it possible at all that some of these emails you haven't received have been tagged as spam by the filter? If you do have Spam Assassin enabled, do you also use the Spam Box to view the emails?
Although the 5 minute outtages you are describing are worrisome (I have access to the emails the techs send whenever there is a server reboot or POP3 disabled, and danzig or libra aren't appearing there as having frequent outtages like this), I am most concerned about determining why your email would be missing. Even during a POP3 disablement or reboot, the messages shouldn't disappear. Please provide us with more information as well as contact
