Hi all,
LP tech staff told me there is no way to disable webmail access. (force only-POP3 access)
Is this true?

Thanks

yes and no... webmail will always be there, but you can "hide" it...

For example, let's say that by default users who go to yourdomain.com/webmail get redirected to the LP provided webmail. But, if you create a folder called webmail, they will see that instead of being redirected... I found this out by accident when I did my own webmail setup and just happened to override the default LP webmail for my domain in the process...

Just out of curiousity, is there a reason you want to disable webmail access for your users?

On shared hosting servers there is no way to completely disable webmail access, as although you can put in a folder called webmail to prevent domain.com/webmail access, webmail is still accessible via server.lunar(whatever).com:2096/ since this is server level and disabling would disable for anyone on the server.

The only people that should be able to access webmail are those you have given email addresses/passwords to.
