Hi,
We are allowed an infinite number of email accounts so i take it that those who visit our websites can sign up for email accounts if we so desire.  How do we initiate that.  How do we place on our website access to set up their accounts and further more access those accounts without having to go through c-panel.  I hope i made myself clear.  I know one can go to     ww.yourdomainname.com/webmail, but where do they go to actually sign up.  would it be the same to sign up, and just link to it from our website.  Again I hope this makes sense. Also, on a  nonrelevant note, where can i go to get help with forum.  I installed a forum on my website, but I am trying to change my administrator name, or make another name with administrator access. Thanks in advance

Martin

Hi, Jaser

yeah, hopefully the wonderful lunarforum staff will be able to help us soon.  But i do know for a fact that you dont have to go through your cpanel everytime to check your email.  Simply type your url followed by /webmail, like so  www.yourdomainname.com/webmail
That will bring up the sign in window.  My question however is how do I do it so my visitors can sign up for emails themselves, because for them to sign up, I believe you do have to go through cpanel, but im not sure.

Hi martino,

You would have to set up some kind of script to do that.  phpBB lets people sign up for email accounts if you configure it that way.  I would check out www.hotscripts.com to see if you have find something about it.  I honestly don't know how you could do it other than through a script.

As for staff, this isn't official support but our membership forum.  Anyone can answer questions for anyone else.  We try to help each other out here just like you did for jaser by providing information on the webmail alternative url.  I just thought I would point this out, since I try to respond to posts that I can, but there are a lot of posts each day and it is difficult to make a guarantee which ones I myself could answer.  I really appreciate the assistance provided by all the members here, especially those who go out of their way to answer questions.

Have a Blessed Day
