This is my first post here so please take it easy on me.  Very Happy

I am having trouble figuring out the best way to set up the following.

I own 2 domains. Lets call them domain1.com and domain2.com.

domain1.com was the main domain for my old web hosting plan. I have since canceled that account and now any mail sent to those addresses (anything@domain1.com) bounce back since there are no longer any mailboxes set up for that account. I wasn't aware people were still using the old addresses but apparently they are.

domain2.com is a domain that is part of a reseller plan. I need any emails that are sent to domain1.com to be automatically forwarded to domain2.com. What is the easiest way to do this? I cannot add any add on domains to the reseller accounts. Is there an alternative other than adding another account to my reseller plan to simply forward emails from people still using the old address?

Thanks!!

If you have cPanel on your server there is an easy way to do that. Its a domain email forward and it does exactly what you are asking for. Send to John@domain1 and it goes to John@domain2.

I use it for my domains and it works great

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that right now I do not have domain1 set up anywhere at this time. I own the domain name but it is not set up as an account on lunarpages. I want to avoid paying ~$70 to simply forward email from the old domain to the new domain so I was looking for an alternate way to accomplish this.

Same here, I just forwarded my domains name server to lunar and added it in control panel as an addon domain. Then I did a domain email forward.

Price FREE, you just need one Lunar hosting account
