All my email to aol.com sent via my Lunar Pages SMTP is being blocked due to bulk email and spam originating from the Lunar Pages SMTP.  Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

AOL says OK we'll monitor the situation and fix it, if the spam stops coming, but It may take a month or so.

Best thing to do for this situation would be to contact abuse@lunarpages.com or submit a help desk ticket so that we can get this taken care of for you as soon as possible.

You can submit a support ticket here:

Hope that helps!   Thumbs Up

I did contact support (yesterday).  I'm just wondering how widespread this is - do others have the some problem - but it doesn't look like anyone is reading this forum.

As to abuse - there probably is some abuse of LP SMTP policy that's causing this, but I don't have any real evidence of that.  I also suspect it's an unwarranted response form AOL.

Also, Lunar Pages aggravates the problem by not telling me that AOL rejected the email until 24 hours has past.  The Lunar Pages SMTP should send me a message relaying the AOL rejection notice right away (within a minute or two) and not wait until 24 hours has past.  This really should be fixed.

I guess it is a holiday weekend - lets see if someone looks at it tomorrow - my feedback is that AOL my have lifted the block on the Camilla IP at their end.
