I think its simply waiting for Spam Assasin to issue another update. The spammers are using some techniques that fool almost all the anti spam programs by inserting all kinds of garbage text (as you may have seen).

I"m pretty sure LP will upgrade spam assasin once a newer version is available.

You can try adding your own filter settings, but that can get very technically complex
