I went over the 400 per hour limit for the second time this month and so have had my email disabled. Obviously I realise this was my fault but it was a genuine mistake - carelessness earlier in the month, and mistakenly replying to all on a larger than expected email earlier today. The support staff originally said the email would be reinstated if I could reply basically saying it wouldn't happen again but have since said they have contacted the server administrators and that 'They will analyze and run an audit on your account'. This was about four hours ago. My email's been down for more than six and I haven't been able to work all day because of it.

I realise it was my error, but it was a genuine one, and I just feel this is taking a long time to get resolved, especially as we are coming to the end of the day and there are a lot of people waiting to hear from me. I just wondered if anyone else had any experience of this and how long it took for your email to get reinstated?

Thanks!

i experienced the same feelings you did.I was on eBay since 2003 , with over 6000 fb, and it just took a few dumb buyers , not even leaving a neg, just low dsr and opening disputes in the new resolution center - rather than just emailing me with a question- and bang.I called customer service and to say they don't give a crap is generous.

Hi. Are there any precautionary measures that we can do to lessen the chance of this happening in the future? We have a large LAN and I can't risk to be having this kind of issue.
