We have a mailing list that includes people that receive mail in a non-digested and a digested form.  The recipients of the digested mail are not receiving the images, attachments, gifs etc and any non-text portion of the mail is scrubbed.

Is there a setting that should be changed for this.  My idea is that the forum we have is setup for all, with the same parameters, I would think all would have the same problem, if it was a setup problem and not just the digested mail.  Any help on this appreciated!  I am in the process of converting everyone over from an old forum that we were using.  They are skeptical about the new one because of this problem.   Confused

Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan,

Not sure if I can help, but just as another user at Lunarpages, have just a few thoughts here.

Of course for my own personal preferences I do not use Outlook Express as my email client, rather I use Pegasus Mail (which, ocmpared to Outlook, is more secure).

What "might" be the problem is the way that your email client/program (Outlook or whatever) is sending the attachments. Most email clients can send attachments as either "enclosures" or as "attachments". You might want to check your program and if it is set up for the one mode of sending, eg as "attachment" then change it to "enclosure", the reverse of the way it is currently set, and give it a try.

If this corrects the problem, then just leave it that way. If no difference you can just change it back.

For my use with Pegasus Mail program when set as "attachment" the attachments are sent as separate entities from the actual email. When set as "enclosure" the atttachments go along "embedded" into the singular email message.

Hope this helps.
 Smile
