I watched the tutorial for Outlook 2002; however, it doesn't quite relate to Outlook 97.

Can anyone provide me with help on setting up my email accounts?  I tried to do it myself and got this message when replying to someone:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Melissa Macias' on 2/7/2004 3:14 PM
No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient.

I don't know how to fix it nor do I exactly know what it means.

The easiest thing to do would be to upgrade to MS Office 2003 (or 2004 now) but it's not in my budget, at this time.

Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!   Applause

You might want to download Outlook Express and use that instead.  Go to Microsoft's website and you can download the latest version of Internet Explorer which includes Outlook Express.

You then "import" your previous Outlook messages into Outlook Express.

Personally, I find Outlook Express better than Outlook.  My husband does, too.  Hopefully, you will, as well.

I'll try that.  I liked Outlook for all of the features that it has but I'll try the new Outlook Express.  I'm currently using OE 6 in the meantime.

Thanks very much for your help and reply Smile

Or, download Mozilla Thunderbird from mozilla.org. It's a free email client that is more secure than Outlook Express, has superior spam handling, superior email forwarding, easier access to headers, and generally a better program that's getting better week by week.
