I set up a new account in Outlook for my new domain (I have four email accounts set up under my domain). I am able to send email in Outlook just fine.

However, none of the email is being downloaded from the server. I don't get any errors when I send/receive, but I don't get any email either. I have it set to deliver all new mail to my Personal Folders. The test email that Outlook sends when you set up a new account says that it was delivered successfully, and when I go into cpanel I see that my usage for that mailbox has gone up.

Related (or not), I also cannot check my email using the webmail features on cpanel. I get a prompt for my username/password (like an NTFS challenge box on a restricted directory); I enter my username/password three times; I get Access Denied. My username/password is the same for all email accounts. I tried changing one of them just to be sure, and still had no luck. (Is this the Windows IE update that you guys mentioned in announcements? I ran a windows update earlier this week.) Anyway...my main problem is why I'm not getting email downloaded. I increased the timeout just in case that was an issue, still no luck.

Please help...for the time being I have put a forwarder on my account so that I can get my email. Thanks!

For email, the user name is your entire email address.  the password is the password for that email account.

Sometimes you may need to use a + instead of the @ in the email address for login, but I've never had an issue just using the regular email addy with the @

The link to webmail would be:
http://www.yourdomain.com:2095/

As for Outlook, try removing the accounts, and add them using the auto-config in cpanel to the far right of the list of accounts.

Yeah!!! Sucess!!! Thank you!!

Entering the full email address for the username worked to get me into webmail...it was also what I was missing in the Outlook accounts.

Just an FYI...I was trying to access webmail by clicking on the "Read Webmail" link on the view/edit accounts screen in cpanel. That link is set to populate the login box with the email address, but it didn't work for me...the box comes up blank or with the last thing I typed in...I am using IE 6.

Also, I did run the autoconfig without luck...but I am using Outlook, not Outlook Express....don't know if that makes a difference.

Thanks again!!!
