I have been getting this error when I try to send an email in Entourage:


Error:
A message in your Outbox could not be sent using account "Brian."  The server did not recognize the recipients or the server refuses to allow you to send mail.

Explanation:

is currently not permitted to relay through this server. Perhaps you have
not logged into the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have
SMTP Authentication turned o


Does any of this make any sense to anyone?

If you are having trouble receiving mail or sending mail, please try changing the POP3 and SMTP mail server to 'mail.domain.com' or simply 'domain.com' where 'domain.com' is your actual domain name.

Also, please Ensure for outgoing (SMTP) mail you have SMTP authentication enabled.

Some internet service providers require that you use their outgoing servers.  Please also try your ISPs smtp mail server settings.

Please also remove and recreate the account in your mail program if the above suggestions do not work.
