I've problems yet again with sending or receiving email. What's the deal here?

Originally, with my last complaint the solutions centered with what I'd had entered for my POP3 and SMTP settings which were set exactly to what I'd been originally emailed about after I'd originally joined up with Lunar.

But now, it's dejavu all over again.

What's up?

could you link us to the last thread you started? What did you end up entering? Which server are you on (sorry to end in a preposition)?

I was having helluva problems with my email a couple of weeks ago, it turns out my ISP, Comcast, was suddenly (and without notice) requiring me to use them as my smtp (bast**** they are also the only ones offering DSL in my area).  Now my email headaches are gone ~:)

Sorry, but I don't recall when I placed my last post and it's almost moot considering that the cause of that problem may very well be different from this situation.

My problem is intermittent and sporadic. Although it's lasted for several days this time around and immediately after Support contacted me, I WAS able to send, but still not receive. Then, after I contacted them again, I WAS able then to send. Makes you wonder aye?

NOW, I CAN'T send again.....Oye!

Anyhow, as for what you've mentioned, I've got other accounts on my OE from different servers...all of which have had no problems at all.

I use Lunarpages's servers but i do it on port 26. Luckily, you can send email from any domain with the comcast server so it isn't too bad.

yah, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't for me.

It's all a matter of mixing and matching between 25 & 26
and also, turning on and off:
My Server requires Authentication.

But that's all quite a bit of trouble to be going through all the time,

ya think?
