I opened a ticket on 17th, Sep. As if nobody take care of this problem. So I'm wondering if anybody can offer help here.

SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<sales@domain.com> SIZE=6793:
host mx3.hotmail.com [65.54.188.126]: 550 SC-001 Unfortunately, messages from 74.50.5.131 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors.

Hello,

We are looking into this issue. Please be patient. It takes time to work with a 3rd party on something like this.

As of 20 Sep 2010 19:37:50 -0700 [7:37 PM PDT] Jay says:  "... we have been in contact with Hotmail and they are aware of this issue which is affecting an IP range that your shared server is allocated, however this is not the fault of Lunarpages but a Hotmail issue which we can not fix. This is not only affecting Lunarpages services and at this time Hotmail have not issued a time frame that the email delivery will be back to normal. We ask that you allow up to  72 hours for them to rectify this issue ...".

I don't know why anyone would use hotmail when GMail or Yahoo are free and available and seem to be so much better.

Anyway, thanks. We got lastest information.

Lots of our customers are using hotmail. Someone think hotmail better, someone like yahoo and gmail.  So we've no access to persuade them to change spam into yahoo or gmail.

By the way, Bill Gates wouldn;t be happy after reading you message. Grinning

Email to Hotmail went through properly this morning.
Looks like this is resolved.   Till next time?
I would strongly encourage users to migrate from Hotmail to Gmail.
