SpamAssasin is catching over 100 spam messages a day but a great deal still get through. I've been blacklisting my spam for the last week but this is not stemming the tide. Am I doing something wrong with filtering (After clicking the "blacklist" link I get a list of "From:" addresses for the selected emails. Then I click on "Apply all filters".) or do spam messages actually change their from: addresses on a daily basis? Can anyone share any filtering tips? Is there anyway to remove my email address from any of these spam lists? I'm really ready to change my email address. Maybe this is the only solution?

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

Greetings,

Be aware that if your email address is on a web page and/or in the HTML code, it is being harvested constantly by the spam companies. If that's the case you may want to change the email hyperlink into a non-clickable graphic.

Also, many people use a second disposable email address when joining online sites or ordering from e-commerce sites.

Thanks for you suggestions and link. I had removed any email addresses from my website a couple of months ago (changed them to non-clickable graphics).

But why is it that filtering doesn't seem to be effective?
