I am trying to set up webmail so I can access my mail while on holidays.

 I went to the “Login to SmarterMail”  and put in the my email address and the  password I always use to get my email.

 But I get a reply that the email  or password are not correct.

I contacted lunarpages support and they just gave me instructions on how to change my email account password in Plesk.  Why would I want to change a password when it  works  when I access my email from my home computer. 

What am I doing wrong? Grr..!!

I see support has replied again on this. Please use http://webmail.yourdomain.net (change to your domain) and the full email address as the username to login.
